The Club for all ages and abilities

Tamworth Canoe Club is an active BCU affiliated club that welcomes new members from beginners to the more experienced, from young children to older paddlers. No matter what your skill level, we can help you get the most from paddlesport.

We meet for pool sessions on Wednesday evenings at The Snowdome Centre in Tamworth, and regularly hold river sessions on the river Tame from the old lido in the castle pleasure grounds. Very often we will arrange river trips on local waters or venture further afield to more challenging rivers and paddlesports centres.

Currently the club has 5 UKCC qualified coaches, able to help you develop through your BCU Star awards in various disciplines and beyond.
