Club Information

We pride ourselves on being a friendly, family oriented club, welcoming everyone that has an interest in paddlesport, whether it is just recreational or if you would like to develop your paddlesport into something more serious.

Pool session information and prices

We meet all year round at the Snowdome swimming pool in Tamworth. These sessions run on a Wednesday evening from 8pm until 10pm.  This is a perfect environment to learn the basics or improve on existing skills and meet other members of  the club. During these sessions you can also find out about our regular trips and events scheduled throughout the year.

Meet the team

Our coaches and exec are all volunteers with the club, just with a passion for paddlesport. If you want to learn something knew, or perfect a stroke just ask at a session and we will help you.

Courses

Have you always wanted to try paddling a kayak or canoe, but just had no idea where to start? Then talk to us, we can help you. We have members of all ages from 8 to 80, you’re never too old to have a go at something new, and most of the time your coaching will be one on one. While we do run taster sessions for absolute beginners, we operate the BCU Paddlepower Passport Scheme for the under 14’s and the BCU Star awards for adults who want to progess their skills, the options open to you in paddlesport are very broad.

Useful club documents and forms

Some useful membership documents, club constitution, operating and safeguarding procedures can be downloaded here.

Pool and River Equipment

That’s no problem, we have everything you need to take part in paddlesport available at the club, both for pool and river use, or if you have your own you can bring that too. We cannot accommodate open canoes on pool sessions, there simply isn’t sufficient access or space. Please view this page for more information.
